    We have scams like that here as well. There was an "old" woman dressed in black on her knees, face down to the sidewalk with a cup. Later, I saw her on break, smoking a cigarette and talking on her cell phone. She was probably 18 years old. Sadly, I wasn't carrying a camera at the time.

    I like the photo better without the explanation. The bent over figure is nicely contrasted with the figures in line (where the hands on the hips gives a hint of reassurance that she is not a threat...).

    So does your explanation come from the tour guide explaining her scam?
