beautiful, beautiful light in this shot. my only CC would be to maybe pull the sky back a little bit as some of the whites and yellows appear to be blown out/oversaturated. other than that, it's a great shot.

Beautiful! I do agree that parts of the sky seem blown and maybe in the water. Other than that it's great!thumb.gif

Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

Gary, this is my new favorite of your work! The horses are enjoying a quiet morning and I can share the quiet mood by the lighting and subdued colors in this piece. The fences really add context and help tell the story. Like others, I find the blown out sky to be a bit distracting. You might try cropping the top to just above the mountain and perhaps a little off the bottom, although I am not bothered at all by the brightness of the water--it helps show off the reflected fence posts and the mist. Cropping some off the top, to me, would bring the whole scene closer together and make for a more intimate feel. At least that's how I see it.

I keep going back to this image and find that I am just mesmerized by it. I might have to think of a place in my house where I could hang it!

    Well done, my friend!

Very nice Gary ... the lighting is just marvelous again. I like the vapor rising from the water.

Excellent, I love the way the lighter tones on the middle & left lead the eye slowly up through the picture, at least they did for me.
