Good capture Trish. thumb.gif At least they have the courtesy to eat you after you are dead. That's a lot nicer than those fire ants.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice. A little more contrast/saturation and those things'll pop nicely.

    Little more info
    GREAT SHOT!! thumb.gifthumb.gif
Too bad they didn't smile for the camera! rolleyes1.gif

These are indeed Black Vultures (Coragyps Atratus) 23-27" (58-68 cm)

    **Quote from Peterson's Guide**

This big black scavangers readily identified by the short square tail that barely projects from rear edge of the wings and by a whitish patch toward the wing tip. Legs shorter and whiter than Turkey Vulture's. Note the quick labored flapping.....alternating with short glides. Span under 5ft.

    Range:
Ohio, Pennsylvania to N Chile, N Argentina
    Canon 60D | Nikon Cooloix P7700
Manfrotto Mono | Bag- LowePro Slingshot 100AW
