Last weekend we had a storm come in. We were in the desert when it hit.
1. what we were walking toward (I know the pic isn't all that great - I just snapped this to show what we were heading in to) :
2. but then I had to stop and set up.
Snow:
3. Nearly impossible to see:
4. These guys are why I was there - looking for them was very difficult (before the storm):

We did get a little closer to the javelina; I'll post a few in wildlife forum one of these days - but gee...I need lots of practice. These guys are hard to get close to with their excellent smell and hearing (poor eyesight). A bunch scattered and I knew there were a few to the left of me. On our return I traced their path. I heard a 'woof' and maybe 15 yards in front of me was one with baby. Her hair was standing strait up letting me know they were there (they are pretty harmless). Of course I was not ready with camera plus I had a 300 lens and the pig was so close I couldn't get her in the frame. They ran off and the storm was coming closer so we parted ways.
