Incredible. And hand held and stacked?.... When did Gitzo start making prosthetic human legs????

I do agree with djkraan about cropping off a fraction of the bottom to remove the drop partially seen. And I have to ask.... what is the subject? Berries held up by spider web?

    Amazing work as always.

Thanks for the comments Rob :)

Handheld is not as a clever as it may sound - I arrange it so I end up resting the lens on something - often bits of me :)

Re the drop at the bottom - I did think about cropping it off but as I thought the object turned out like a piece of modern art , I left it in to act as a sort of stand :)

No it's raindrops caught on a spiders web which is partially collapsed.

Yeah the bottom gives it a base. Without it, it would sorta just be floaty and not as interesting as it is now.

Crop wars! Now we all fight pettily about whether or not he should have cropped, and get ourselves banned in the process.

    Woohoo for the internets!

Thanks for the comments Phil and Overfocused :)
I'm a bit biased about the bit at the bottom- the original shot was about 12' off vertical and didn't look right so rotated it and then spent ages cloning in new background to keep the bit on the bottom in the frame :)

I still say the bottom as it is looks the best. From an unbiased view - cropping it off just doesn't have the right feel to it in my macro brain either. I'm pretty sure we have similar macro brains, so.. well that's as close as its gonna get to an unbiased opinion from yourself. Lol.
