What gem a of a shoot. Ceremony and photos took less then 2 hours. I took a friday off for this one because I wanted to shoot in city hall.

Great set of a nice looking couple. I particularly like the long shots of the balcony and stairs, #2 and #6.

Unrelated: I've never been to SF, but these shots are familiar to me because of the Dirty Harry movies, particularly The Enforcer, which featured a long sequence in and around City Hall. What can I say? I'm a movie fan!

Nice! Really great job using the indoor setting. 3,4,6 are my faves. Wish 1 and 2 were a tad brighter. Did you supplement the natural light on any of these? I once shot a wedding at a city hall years ago and mine were not nearly as good as these!

Thanks for looking and commenting. these were all natural light. I tried bouncing some flash but it was adding a color cast from the brownish stone that I didn't like. I found nice window light for #3

I want to re comment. I was there and shot a wedding, as noted by my recent post, and I think you did a better job of using the environment, depth of field and natural light than I did.

Thanks for posting and providing the incentive for me to look more carefully at the environment and to pose the couple with creativity.

Nice work! I think you did a great job with the space provided, used it very artistically! I still need to go and see inside of SF city hall at some point... still haven't visited that since moving yet.

WOW! I've always liked your work but I think these are really exceptional. This wedding looks like it was well worth taking a day off to shoot. You have it all: Great light, location and processing. The couple should be proud (and so should you :D )

Oh man. Daniel... you are now the official Korean Pimp of wedding photography. Absolutely love this entire set. I like most of the stuff you post but this has to be the best work I've seen from you. Really great stuff.

BTW, I expect your new sig to say "Korean Pimp of Wedding Photography".

Very beautiful work. I love that even though they got married in City Hall, they didn't skimp on the photography. Sounds like they really focused on what mattered and I'm sure they'll be delighted with the results.
