..but instead, he's blowin' bubbles! good thing it was just practice :lol3

today, i shot this boy and his brother, the father engaged me to make a set of each, so that they could put some posters up in the boys' bedrooms. so, it was soccer and fall-baseball for each kid today :uhoh

click on the pic for the exif. shooting conditions: strong mid-day sunshine (about 1330 hrs) ... shot in raw, converted in ps cs2. basic curves adjustment, and done....this image has not been sharpened. shot with canon 200 f/2.8L.

    yeah, i find it works for some shots that i present to the clients... they're not all like this, i promise :D but i'll tell you what: the order rate on this type of shot is darn near 100%

    thanks so much, david ... technically i suppose it is a bit sharpened by smugmug, but the orig file doesn't need any for printing, of that i'm certain... that 200L man, it's way cool. can't believe i almost sold it!

    nope - if i had it with me on this shoot, i'd have gotten some better eyes :D ....and you can see the exif by clicking on the pic..

    It's a nice portrait Andy, but what bothers me a bit is the bright face, and the dark deeper lying eyes, caused by the strong midday light. With this picture it's hard to look into those eyes, and for such a headshot, that's something I'd like to be able to. I love the angle and the bubble though.
