Wow, so this theme seems to come at me everywhere!

I'd love some feedback on these, and to hear which one you like best. I think these are my 3 favorites -- tried to narrow it down. There's a link at the end to a gallery with more, if you are willing to look at them.

#1: Spillway

#2: Bench

#3: Fishermen, Monterey, CA

There's more here. I'm interested in all of your C&C, but especially how you might process them differently.

Thanks!

I especially like #3, but I like the close-up in your gallery, even better! thumb.gif

I really liked that one too, but then I convinced myself that it benefits from the context of the ocean. Now I'm not so sure! eek7.gif

    I think I agree....
The sky and water are such great complements to the concrete and sand color....

i second, but i'd crop it a bit at the bottom to remove the, what is it? wet sand? just plain sand, the mural, water, backpack guy and sky...

You could probably crop some off the right side, too - I don't think the words add much to the context of the photo & I really like the ocean side of the shot - you might throw the shot into a composition adjuster like this one http://photoinf.com/Golden_Mean/photo-adjuster.html to see what kind of crop would work best for this shot. Love the "3" fishermen - in a diagonal leading to the sea! Nice shot :)

    Here's a cropped version:

I see what you mean, though I'm not sure which I like best. Thanks for the suggestion!

I like seeing the whole boat, "superimposed" on the sea. But I like the focus on the three figures, too. What do you think? headscratch.gif
