I like the first version, but there is something about it that just doesn't 'catch' my eye. Don't know if it's the angle, crop, the trees.... maybe it just too early in the morning
I was thinking the same thing. It's missing something.
Maybe try and angle the shot from the top looking down keeping the top in focus while blurring as you go down.
Then do it again from the bottom looking up and see which one you like. If you have a helper with a flashlight or some form of light source you could really play with different shots.
Or something along those lines. The idea is great! The shot is just a little normal.
But thats just me
Well these were kinda my thoughts as well. Just don't really know what it is but it is pretty boring. Thanks for the comments and advice! I will work on it some more to see what I can come up with.
I think maybe the angle is a little awkward, but I like the idea a lot. The previous advise about trying a different perspective or trying some different lighting on a section is worth trying.
