This is the promised video I took of the male Red-breasted Merganser bathing in the lagoon and taking off.

The video may start and stop whilst loading but if it does, please be patient and let it load fully then press 're-play'. The cause of the problem is not to do with your computer but happens if the server is busy resulting in a slow down-load. I am sorry but if this happens, there is nothing that you or I can do about it. It will run smoothly on re-play.

I am currently learning the skills required to take video on my E5 dslr camera. I find it a bit dis-orientating at the moment but practise is certainly giving me better results. I can't wait for the Tern to arrive.

Please click on the video above to play.

Hope you enjoy this. Comments etc are welcome as always.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Hi Harry, thanks for your reply and commentsthumb.gif.

I have another video to post but I am not sure which is the best way to post it here in the forum. Like this one, the video is in my gallery. I think it would be better to use the embedded code rather than the method I have applied. Do you have any ideas please?

You might try asking that question in the Action Forum.
