After the Rain

During one of my sunset walks, I found this umbrella that didn't survive the winter storm.

I shot this with a point and shoot and had to manually block the flash to try to even out the exposure. This is an unaltered image.

    I like the color, very well done,,,with the p&s system...Didd you actually block 70 of the flash because the ligth and color blend very well

    Nice, surreal quality. I like how the sky colors are echoed in the umbrella. If it were mine, I'd crop the bottom so that the edge of the curb is at the lower left corner. I'd also darken the curb so that the flash is less evident.
