New Metz 44 AF-1 flash...

This entry level flash looks quite attractive. Reasonable power. Simple interface (I gotta admit... love how the LED buttons look :D)
Don't see much of a buzz about it though. Too new?

    I cannot find any reviews, google may have missed them...your site is a copied press release (dated 9-2011 on the Metz site)...no one seems to have one in stock, BH, Adorama, Amazon.....this leads me to believe that it may not be coming to the US.......there are several newer press releases on the Metz site also.......there also may not be any buzz just be cause it is not something really truly great.

    Let me re-state the no reviews comments, everything I found was outside the US and they seemed to copy the Metz press release...so I meant to say no real reviews.............

    I could not find any info that was not a press release copy also. The only places listing it for sale was outside the US. The performance specs did not seem that great also.

    Metz's web-site is a mess :D
    The press center page dates the press release as 02/2011
    The press release itself says 09/2010
    The PDF version of the same press release (download at the bottom) says January 2011
    May guess it that the release belongs to this year because there were another press release in September when they have actually unveiled the flash (typical copy/paste error)...
