With my new camera/lens. It is an old broken lamp. I did not have room for my tripod but I did have my mono. I was standing in a old fireplace bracing myself by gripping the top of the hearth with both hands and using my remote shutter while balancing the mono pod between my knees and a old chair? :) I was using a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L so no IS.

The people in the room thought I was nuts :)

But I was happy with the results. (only got one keeper out of the 20 I took of this one shot)

So what do you think?

    Thank you!

I'm learning more and more to use my tripod every chance I can. I was very surprised I was able to get this one without it.

Hehe... :D Take nuts dang the rest. You know what your looking for.
Stay on top of that. Plus its fun to buzz then out. Most folks just don't get
what you see till you show em. Then they warm up to it and start to see
themselves. Nice plus. thumb.gif I like that part with out any explaining. It just is.
