this darn crane flew so close there was no way for a good comp in my processing as he filled the entire frame so I added canvas to the capture.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

You do know that a flip capture is required. You best get to work on that. :D

All are flippin great Harry. That Limpkin is seriously questioning your motives with that big black cylinder pointed at him.

At Viera the roads are elevated above the cells. With the limpkin capture I went down the elevation to the edge of the water. The limpkin came out of the water and climbed up above me towards the road giving me an effective perspective for the capture.

Thanks Joel, I really lucked out with my move. When we picked out our plot we had no idea the Viera Wetlands even existed.

Thanks Jim, that's one of the advantages of being retired. I'm an early riser so when I wake up I make a cup of coffee and sit outside by the pool. I take in the weather and if the light is good I grab my cameras and hop in the car and drive 15 minutes to the wetlands and get there around sunrise. I will then shoot for 2 /12 to 3 hours.

Then I drive home and Linda (a late riser) will be getting up and we have some breakfast together. I will do my usual stuff the rest of the day until the late afternoon. If the light is still good I'll head back to the wetlands and do some more shooting for a couple of hours. Depending on my mood I may put a hunk of meat in the smoker before I leave in the PM and pull it out when I get back from the PM shooting or I'll throw a hunk of meat on the grill and grill it when I get back.

    Its a rough life. :cavig
