slideshow not color profiled in Firefox?

OOOPS, should have searched first (I searched profile slide show rgb but didn't think to search wide gamut) and I see this question was asked and answered in January. Flash issue.

I recently got a wide gamut monitor and have worked through profiling, etc. My images now look and print fine from PS and Lightroom, and show consistently ok on Firefox (but of course not on IE.)

But I just noticed that when I view the images in a gallery as a slideshow, I get the garish colors typical of an application that is not color profile aware on a wide gamut display. Is this normal behavior? Is there a way to avoid it?

You might want to consider switching to jfriend's new slideshow. It doesn't use flash.
