First test shots with new 11-16

I really like this wide angle Tokina - these are the first few shots i took with it. I was very pleased the way it performed on my D80, these were handheld wide open at 400. Haven't pulled the trigger yet on the D700.. but i can't wait much longer.. :rofl - next time i'm bringing the tripod.

    Neato, what apeture is it, and it's a DX-format lens? I haven't looked at any new digital lenses from Tokina.

    Hi - thanks, yes, it's a dx format (AT-X Pro 11-16 2.8 IF). I really like it, but it is my first 'wide angle'.. my 17-50 tammy 2.8 is going for sale :D. The new Tokina has proven it has a place in my bag (until i go FX). I also just replaced my nifty 50 1.8 with a new one as i never should have sold it (the tammy was suppose to have taken it's place). More test shots coming with it soon.. lol
