I spent the day spotting with some out-of-town friends at Kennedy Airport. The all-day clouds that were forecast cleared out for a few hours in the morning, and we made the best of it.

1 - FedEx MD-10 Freighter departing, with the JFK tower in the background.



2 - Not every JetBlue jet is blue - as the official sponsor of the NY Jets, they have one green jet.



3 - JetGreen climbing out.



4 - South African Airways A340 using most of the runway leaving for Johannesburg.



5 - Emirates Boeing 777 off to Dubai.



6 - American Airlines 777 heading to Miami.

Nice Shots ! Its amazing with just a little splash of color in the back ground on a couple, how quickly it draws the eye away from the plane, and then quickly back to the plane. Nice !

It's this reason alone that I've been worried about taking photographs of planes around DFW International Airport.

What did they question you about, trying to find out if you're a terrorist? Or just trying to find out what you're doing in general?
