I went and shot a local concert for a friend-of-a-friend. I always enjoy the practice plus helping out local artists, so when asked, I took my wife and enjoyed a night of great music. Here are some of the results.

All shot with Canon 20D & 70-200L IS. The lighting was pretty dark overall (low budget concert), but the 2.8 helped pull it out. Comments/feedback welcome.

Nice series. I can't imagine how hard it is to get good shots at a concert like that. Low light and all...

what kind of music was it? (sry, curious...) Artist name and such?

Nice photo's too - indoor band shots can be tough!

    Hi Jeremy,
Excellent job, nice and sharp. Shutter speed was slow enough to show movement in the hands while keeping her from motion blurrthumb.gif. Good shots all around.

    Thanks for sharing,

    This is the artist:

    Cheri Magill

She has a great voide with an almost a popular and familiar feel. Not sure how you would classify it.

Right on, I really dug what I heard online, thank ya! thumb.gif

Hope she gets some gigs over on this side of the country soon enough, sounds like a great live show!
