I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

Is that last one tree bark? Because of the previous pics, I would assume so. Anyway, it's a real neat abstract. It could be a lot of things. I love the flowing movement.

it sure is! when i saw the oof pacifier in the child's mouth in the prior photo, i immediately thought of this shot - hadn't even processed it, had to run it thru raw and get it in the game, fast!

I wanted to play, but the computer at my daughter's house, it thinks I am she, and it won't let me log in. May be cookies.
But I hate to mess it up with her. So, will be home Sunday.
I enjoyed looking today, though. Showed my daughter "Harry", smile. Thanks, Andy. ET al. Looks like you all had a fun game day. I wanted to find a photo of Dixie, would have had to log in.
Oh God...you had to ask. Better take a seat...it's going to be a while. :uhoh
People in the lobby... people/girls Maybe it was the red hair? Might have been just plain old WOMEN'S PREROGATIVE.

That was awhile back, sorry for not reading. Something should flag us, I never would have dreamed someone was "talking" to me.
Those are photos taken at a visit to my daughter's a year ago. I like the photo a lot.
One is my granddaughter, the other is a friend, after ballet lessons. Not great photo, but just something I like about the unusual, un artistic, number of "two", I like the way they are both against the wall..........etc. May be a quirk of the moment for me.
However, I don't know why I posted it when I did. maybe it was "kids", maybe it was out of turn. an accident, you know, but it is so accessible under family, I could have put it back unless some others were posting at the same time.
Yeah, birdman, best thing is to just go with it: colors, or subject, whatever you want to change it to.
Sorry for not noticing, Andy.
ginger (I really would have liked to have posted yesterday, Turkey day here in the states! In fact, took first photos since getting my camera back, maybe "candids/family snaps", but kind of photography. Plus I had photos for the theme from Dixie's visit and couldn't get to them. Explained in previous post.)
Mike sure does take liberties. Any excuse to post more birds!!
and that's a problem?

Anyone have a photo of a sail boat with a nice sail that would go with that last shot? (#1517)

Looks like you had a great seat next to that radial motor. I'm jealous!
