I need some help on this one, please...

My daughter is a Middle Eastern music scholar, and needs to translate this page from a manuscript which she photographed in the Cairo museum last summer (they don't have a scanner):



Unfortunately it is OOF. Does anyone know of PS techniques which would help to clarify it? All of the little dots and squiggles are important.

i don't know of any way to take something that's oof and make it in focus. here's the best i could do, not sure if it helps at all.

edit>transform>distort.
convert to bw, curves adjustment, sharpen with unsharp mask.
