Hey, nice set! I'm torn between #1 and #5--I really like the splash of color in each one. I might lean toward the bench a little more only because it's different from any other entry.

I kind of like #4 also if you want to stick to black & white with no color.

    Good luck.

I like #5. It has nice details in the bench that keep me looking.

Thanks! :D I'm happy you like them! Laughing.gif I didn't think I was going to have a decent shot to enter, then we went to a specialty garden center here and I started taking pictures of everything that was made of concrete. I have a few more I didn't edit... it got late last night and I was so tired from a busy day.

I also like the color in #1. To me, it looks like it could be straightened a little - the metal strip across the shot looks like it should be either a little more straight or a little more slanted, but take that with a grain of salt, as I tend to see things differently than most.

Laughing.gif, yes... I am having a hard time with this one. Too much concrete and none of it is what I want it to be. You found some interesting things there.

The thing about the statues, to me, is the background keeps distracting me. (The metal cover thing)

I do like the one with the flowers behind it, but prefer the bench.

I like the repetition of the main subject and that the metal circle ties them together, making a kind of a relationship.

I would have liked though, the main statue (subject) to be a little crisper and a different DOF of course,
but I guess your camera cannot do this. Maybe you can try Picnik (or other photo editor) for some cool effect

#4 and #6 have the strongest character and presence, IMHO... especially #6.. Nice work.

Thanks for your opinion ... I think you're right. I wasn't going to edit this one, but got a chance to do that this afternoon. I'm out of time to go through any others and get input and suggestions, so I'm going to enter #6. :)
