I went out today to try to get different angles of the concrete bridge. The sunlight was pretty harsh today, so I'm not sure I got anything better than before.

Here's my first attempt again:

Here are some new attempts:
2. Same image, color version

3. Adding texture

4. Slightly different black & white

5. New image from today

6. Color version

7. One of the other footbridges over the duck pond

8. Color version

I don't have time right now to swap out these last two images so I'll do that later. I don't know why they have the half-border as my original image files don't have that. :dunno

Anyway...are any of the new ones better than the original? I've tried different processing and some of the other suggestions, but I'm not sure about any of the results. I'm just not digging this theme I guess.

Thanks for any feedback you can offer.

Sherry

I like #2 with a closer crop on the bridge, and #7... it just catches my eye for some reason.

I really like #2 with the colors - I think it makes the bridge more interesting - adds a lot of character with the greens & browns. But b&w is also not my fav type of photo, so that may just be me. I also like #6 with maybe a little crop off the top & left. The ducks add interest & contrast to the bridge.

Thanks Jenn & lk for taking time to comment. I'm not sure I ever got what I really wanted out of that bridge, but I entered it anyway.
