Hi!

Im not usually a candid street-photographer, but I was no longer able to resist the temptation when I travelled to colombia in February. While I had some focusing difficulties with my D90 (which has now been replaced with a 7000), I managed to salvage some good shots. In many cases this meant I had to go black and white, which Im not sure how I feel about. Feedback on anything that strikes you would be much appreciated!

Missed these the first time -- thanks for the bump.

These are great! #1, #4, and #5 are my favorites. The BW is quite effective I think; although when I hit #4 I like the color too. Looks like a really great trip!
The goal of my photography is is the effective, original communication of a feeling expressing truth, beauty, or love.

Well I have to say that I was drawn in to imagine what it would be like to live like that, the clothing really made me sit and think. The only thing that made me just think about the shoot was that one was too warm. They really made me stop and think, so I think that is a wonderful thing, great job !
On second thought I no longer think the first color image is too warm, it was just my impression after looking at the b&ws first.

thanks for the feedback guys! it's nice to hear. Colombia is a truly amazing country - despite the reputation, with street-smarts in gear, I only met very nice people (even if my Spanish was terrible!).
