with the Vagabonds currently on backorder are there any similar power packs out there at the same price? I saw something by duracell on Amazon. Any suggestions please.

Make sure that you only consider "true" or "pure" sinewave power inverter systems. The cheaper inverters can or will cause damage even over a short period of use, if they work at all.

This is the Duracell item I am talking about? I really doubt this would help, but again Ziggy do you know of any product similar to the Vagabonds?

The item you linked does not appear to be a "true/pure" sine inverter.

The following information is provided at your own risk and liability. The components will probably void your warranty and have not been tested in this configuration by me. There is a very real danger working with large storage batteries.

Note that for a "digital" controlled flash even these units may not work (probably will not work). Again, I cannot stress this enough, if you use these units or follow the above advice you do so at your own risk of damage and danger and you will probably void your warranty. Do not proceed unless you accept that risk.

There were several vagabonds on EBay...they did not have batteries......which is good, for 2 reasons....won't be considered as hazardous and the less weight will cost less to ship.......I woud bwe looking there if I wanted the full sized Vagabond
