Eastern Airlines DC-7 at Republic Airport

We had a restored DC-7 airliner arrive at Republic Airport on Long Island this afternoon, N836D, finished in Eastern Air Lines colors. It will be used to film scenes for a new TV show pilot. For the filming, the left side of the aircraft has temporary Pan Am markings applied over the Eastern scheme. It is parked outside the American Airpower Museum's hangar, and should be here for more than a week. I was able to get out to shoot the arrival, and stuck around for a little after-dark fun...
1 - We heard him check with the control tower, and tower said "The museum called and asked if you would do a low pass..." :thumb

4 - The B&W probably would have worked even better without the business jets in the background...
