Vancouver in HDR

I recently caught the ferry over to Vancouver and spent the evening watching the North Shore Challenge, a juried photography competition hosted by the North Shore Photographic Society. After a great evening of photography I spent the rest of the night with a friend and talented photographer shooting the Vancouver skyline in HDR. Here are a few of my shots from that fun night.
*PLEASE NOTE* If you do not like HDR please note that I recently asked for a separate forum on Dgrin for HDR images and was shot down.
I really believe HDR should be shown in its own class so that photographers that do not like it do not have to have it in their regular forums. If you agree please post this in the suggestion box forum.

Great job with these Brad! Really like the 4th shot.
I'm with you on the HDR stuff. Posted a request as well and got shot down. Really doesn't always fit in Landscapes. I personally hate the name of the 'other cool stuff' forum. Just makes it sound like a dumping ground :soapbox

I've been using bracketed HDR on my landscape shots lately to bring out detail and most people in the landscape forum are none the wiser.
HDR is a tool and if used sparingly is often less "synthetic" looking than some of the heavily Photoshop processed images.
Nice images btw.....I especially like the sculpture shot.

I like the more surreal form of HDR for certain subjects, but not all. I prefer the more realistic look for nature images. My images certainly get a healthy boost in the vibrance and details.
I just get lot of feedback from photographers that just dislike HDR period and think it would be nice to have a forum for all things HDR regardless of subject.

Those are all really cool. The museum image, especially, is frightening cool and really interesting.
I agree that these are a good subjects for and applications of the HDR techniques.
