This time of year I crave color and feel photographically drained. I went out yesterday and kept myself intrigued with the changes going on in the water and the trees.

There is beauty out there, I just had to look for it. Hail Spring!

thanks. Just after I snapped that first one, I put my foot through what I thought was the bank, but turned out to be snow-covered ice. Wet socks suck, btw. :)

Thanks a bunch. I was perched on the edge of a little bridge and worried I might overbalance. heh. I just had to wait a while to get wet.

Abstract shots are a great way to pass from winter into summer. Enjoyed all of them, but #1 is my favorite :D

Nice set. While they're all good, the first is my favorite. thumb.gif

thanks everyone. It seems everyone really digs the first one. I almost didn't take it, but then decided I liked it and did. I thought no one else would see the beauty in that weird little slice of almost spring, but I guess it is there and not just for me. #3 is my favorite though...it was like the tree was having a celebration all its own, waving its bark in the air.
