I went to Vegas, shot a wedding, and now my legs are killing me. I probably walked 8 million miles while playing tourist. Well, maybe not 8, but close. Add the wedding on the last day and I'm pretty pooped right now.

Oh, and on our way back, someone had a seizure on the back of the plane while the woman next to him started screaming. We on the front thought we were being highjacked, and I worried about my friend/second shooter who was in the back. Apparently, she was sitting right in front of all the action too. He was ok though, but we had to detour.

Oh, not to mention the night after the shoot, I found out my 8 gig card with all the family formals (and there was a LOT. Small party but they wanted a lot of combinations since this is the first time the families are seeing each other after a long while) corrupted. Only the first 120 images were showing. There were supposed to be 300. I had a little episode with much sweating and queasiness when we couldn't figure out what happened at first. Luckily, I recovered the files when I got home.

Oh, and my radiopopper xmitter didn't work. I'm 2 for 7 on radiopoppers lol.

But enough of that, here's some teaser pics.

LOVE your processing & lighting on these. Very pretty!

Sounds like it was an adventure!

So no good luck on the poppers!? I was just in the process of re-researching the whole poppers vs wizards debate to purchase before "the season" hits hard(er). Good to have some fresh intel from you!

Agnieszka > Yes, totally a "trip" :) Thank goodness my college has Spring Break next week! I'm going to be a busy bee.

Qarik > Thank you! It was really easy, really. 580Ex up high on camera left with a shoot thru Zumbrella held by my awesome second shooter.

heatherfeather > Thank you! Processing is tricky because I lost the serial number for my Spider2Express to install on my new laptop. So I process then have to check the image on my desktop. Lol, so ghetto. I need to order a new calibrator asap.

The RPs are nice when they work. Seriously easy to use. But they're tricky sometimes, and I'm sure I've had my fair share of user error. I bring a cord and an STE2 for these reasons.

By the way, after the wedding, we went to the Vegas sign, spotted a bride/groom couple trying to take a pic with their iphones. So we graciously offered to take their pic with our 5d2 and I gave them my email. Figured it would be nice to give them a copy, poor things. So hopefully they email me before long -_-

Fun shot of yours truly :)

Oh man, Vegas is a killer on legs and feet, things that look a block away are more like a half mile away, and then just to get to the front door and lobby is a journey it's self, ahh to be young again. Your photos are wonderful as aways. Glad you got your files. Congrats on a memorable destination wedding !

Omygosh, yes! My friend and I were trying to walk to the Needle building in the north side of town, which looked like it was RIGHT THERE from our hotel. We walked 10-15 minutes and then realized it was still so much farther from the street. We got to Vegas Friday night, walked a lot, and my feet were in total pain by the time Sunday came around for the wedding. Thank goodness for comfy boots! I don't know how some of the girls with 5 inch heels did it lol.

    And thank you, Trudy :)
