Not really sure about this photo. I didn't get his feet in the photo so I played around with it till I came up with these two versions. I left the legs somewhat in the photo only lightened them.
Would really like some input on these .. good, bad, yuck or what ever anyone has to say on them.

selective coloring is perfect for the whole effort. Only thing I would say is
I'd like to see more front legs. Not all just more. Perhaps this would
lend to bring the big guy into picture and out of nothingness with more
wholeness of him up front coming in than not. For this one I don't think its that
important that the paws be in the work. Thats about it
Neat one Mary. I love Cheetos. Especially when they are being returned.
I love bending things
You like the colored one with more legs. I will work on that tomorrow and post it for ya. Just took a look at the original photo and I have 1 foot, 3 legs and the tail coming out of the side of his head. You can kinda see the 4th leg. If Gus had stayed in the same spot he was in when I went to grab my camera all of him would of been in the shot. Why won't a dog do that for me
I agree it does look like he's somewhat suspended in air.
Thanks for your input .. I needed it for this one.

Thanks Richard for your input. Guess it's a matter of taste really with whom ever is viewing it.
Can't make up my mine yet with all 3 versions.

Hi,
Gus sure loved his 'find' in the garage. He's my neighbors dog, but I sure do love him

mind. Can't help you with that.
He will start lounging on the couch watching TV and get fat.
Oh wait..........let me think.............that was my new years resolution!

I'm going to print up all three. Sometimes in print one gets a whole different view of a photo.
This is what a woman does when she can't make up her mind

--- Gus is a good lounger

I also like the first one best
The no-leg version is my choice.....with the emphasis on " my ". To each his own. Good conception and presentation.

I really like the B&W version a lot. I'd like to see his right shoulder eliminated in this version as the shape of the curve seems a little un-natural.
Jack
(My real name is John but Jack'll do)
Hi Jack...
Never thought about the shoulder. Now that you mentioned it I can see what your seeing too. Must of been how he was standing on the snow plus he's a muscular dog. I'll work on it.
Thanks for taking the time to let you know what you think
