Got a contract to photograph about 1000 of these over the course of a few years as they are made.

What do you think?

Lots of space for customer preferred crop.

I'm probably the last one on this forum qualified to comment on this type of photography.....commercial product display. But I find the white background insufficient to properly highlight the product. I realize that there will probably be many varied colors of barrettes, some of which will show up better than these on a light background. I also realize that there may be requirements from a printer that mandates such a background, or that economics dictate using white. Given a choice, though, I would go with some other background. The metal parts of the product would also benefit from a better showcasing.

Congratulations on getting the contract. Your work has long been worthy of such.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

So would I, but the customer requested plain white, even after I suggested many other options. (one of those being having a Lego Storm Trooper hold them! Laughing.gif) :D
