I tried to achieve higher magnification as possible (without MP-E65 because I use Nikon :pissed) and here are the results with Nikon D7000, tubes (72mm) + Sigma 150 macro + reverse Nikkor 1.4 / 50mm
I assume that the magnification is about 5:1 :scratch
Dead fly
Unfortunately, there are visible h.aberrations
With a smaller magnification (by turning the focus ring on the sigma 150), the aberrations disappear.

Strange the first fly shot - was it noticeably clearer in the viewfinder at the lower mag ?- just it could be movement blur.

It's possible to be some movement blur, but on 100% crop can be seen h.aberrations
