The back of my Invicta. Nikon d80 w/Tamron 60mm F/2. My first shot using Extension Tubes (Kenko 2 small stacked) Hand Held Camera.

I am wondering what to do with this new awesome power. I have only had the Tamron lens a month and not yet fully explored its range! Below is a Lady Bug that wandered in and needed a Close up Too. I used Lightroom to crop and sharpen, clean up just a little on both.

The DOF seems extremely narrow, Not sure I have the patience to learn Marco Stacking...

Thin DOF is part of the territory with macro - one of the reasons we often use flash as it allows the use of smaller apertures.
