Gotta love those MIT kids

So two weeks ago, the Photo A Week assignment for my MIT class was to shoot a stranger from within 10 feet without asking permission - and to shoot them from below the waste. I almost fell on the floor when I saw this. And remember, these kids are rocket scientists, not art students, photo students, journalism students; this class is their only photo class at MIT and may be their only 'art' class. :rofl

I can't open your shot--I think it's the system I'm logged into. Will have to wait til I get home, but you have me frothing at the mouth with anticipation. What did they do?! lol--I will know in 5 hours.

It is your system - I just clicked on the link and it popped right open. Ah well, the five hours will pass quickly.

The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brook Atkinson- 1951

I can usually overlook misspelling, grammatical errors and such. However, I'm a little less prone to be forgiving of a college professor....paticularly when the error almost caused me to roll around on the floor laughing. The correct word above should be " waist ", not " waste ". Just say'in.

Kind of like the kid that gets hurt out playing and runs to mom and cries "I got an owie". Mom looks at him asks "where?"
"on the slide"
Well, I was hoping it would be B.D. who would pick up on my using a misspelled word and seize the opportunity to rib me in return. I just found the use of " waste " , in that instance , to be somewhat comical. I'm sure B.D. recognizes my comments as being in jest....and why I opened myself up to the same ribbing.
