Hi all,

I made my annual pilgrimage to Joshua Tree N.P. I had gone mainly to destress and relax, but managed to get a few shots. :huh

Love your last image. Dramatic composition, beautiful shadows for this shot. I also really like the slumping trees framed by a slumping limb.

I as well like the last one the most. What are you using to edit the images? The shadows look nice and i have never seen a tree like this

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Mike, I use Nikon Capture NX2 to edit my images (I use Nikon and shoot RAW).

Too bad its not a horizontal image to use on your homepage.

Heh Carl. I know, that was my first thought too. Maybe I can crop it to just show the tree in the background.

Thanks again for your suggestions. I incorporated your suggestions (grey colored frames, cleaned up the galleries) and now it looks great.

Hey Chris,

Long time! You definitely need to go there again. It is beautiful at the moment. I am now waiting for the wildflowers to bloom. Great time to be here in CA.

Totally agree with the last one. You filled the foreground so perfectly with that long shadow!
