Viera Otter eating a giant Salamander
At the Viera Wetlands today, it was a day for Otters. A family of 5 were present, and one had captured a Salamander about 3' in length.
Few people have ever seen one of Florida's giant Salamanders. More information on them can be seen at http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/pdffiles/UW/UW16800.pdf

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Thank you, Harry.
And, seeing a Otter tear apart one of these salamanders with their teeth is a good reminder not to get too close to a Otter. Wild animals are just that, WILD and should be observed only at a safe distance.
