This is a snowy owl from a couple of weekends ago, and I was lucky to get quite close to this one and a few more. Their eyes are stunning.

Nice, the eyes sure do leap out of the frame at you.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks for all the positive comments. We are lucky here in Alberta, the bids migrate here in the winter. On that particular day i was lucky to get "close" to at least 4 of these guys. Although shooting them isn't easy, especially on an overcast day like it was that day. I have yet to get close on a bright day with blue skies.
