Low angle on the Daffodils added a different color sky due to the blah gray color of the day. Too much? can make it blue too.

ouch, that near mylanta pink just does not do it for me. it you could lighten that up substantially, it might work well and complement the nice colors of the daffodils. as it is, it is just too forced and unnatural and cut-out. otherwise, it is a nice shot.

The pink is pretty bright - I'm okay with it, but with the other reponses, I'd go with the blue. Flowers look good, nice DOF. Like the angle & the background fence, but I wonder if a lower angle would be stronger for the theme - unless the snail is on a rock, it's perspective would be from much lower.

Agree with the previous comments - great detail and colour to the flowers, but overpowered by the pink sky. Either a paler pink, or more natural blue, sky be less distracting?

Pink doesn't do it for me either, but I'd try it B&W.

Did you try the blue? I'd like to see it. I love the color of the flowers against the grass and adding a blue sky could be a real knock-out of color!

Can you play a filter game and make the sky come out darker in the B&W? That would set up a nice contrast with the flowers.

Ok Blue. It is going to be a moot point here because I just received news that my brother is coming to town and we will be going to San Francisco and Yosemite. Had put in for days off was just waiting for him to confirm.
I might be able to find something there that fits the theme.
Thanks for the feedback on this one.

A nice capture, Chris. I like the black and white version best. I think the perspective "could" be stronger though. Can't wait to see what you bring back from your trip. I hope you and your brother have a great time..thumb.gif
