Muir Woods

Had a few hours of light, and light rain, while on the road last year. Dragged my assistant out of bed (we were on a week-long shoot between Seattle and San Fran) and up into Marin County after touching down in SF. Got wet, but got a nice moody shot as well.

Just a slight bump of levels and some extra mask on the redwood in PS, pretty great light on this mossy subject...

I think it is beautiful!!

I originally stated that I thought it may be just a bit dark, but after getting home and looking at it again on my monitor here, I think it is perfect!!

This is possibly one of the nicest pics I've seen from Muir Woods. I've been there briefly twice, but I don't think I saw this. Great, inspiring capture!
