wet pavement and cones

Okay I am new here and wanted some C&C. I still consider myself to be a noob but trying to learn and get better! Be gentle! LOL!
I am shooting with a Canon Rebel XT but will be upgrading soon. This camera was the boyfriends and I have stolen it basically. I am hoping to go for a T2i or better yet T3i very very soon!
Shot with a 100-400mm IS w/o tripod while hiding under the safety of a canopy! Stupid rain!

    Love the first one! Awesome blue! Even the the wipers tell more that is it raining it would have been even more cool if the wipers were down to see the driver. But I still love the shot! Guy/gal has to see to drive the awesome thing!

    #1 is spot on. I like the spray in #2, but like you said the cone is just in the wrong place. Autocross is hard to take pictures of for sure and I think you did pretty well!

    Yeah its a bit difficult to shoot around the cones sometimes at autocross! Esp. when the rain is making you hide under a tent...
