House Sparrow and American Robin

Finally got to play with my telephoto lens this morning. Here's some of the results. :D

Had some issues with chromatic aberration, as you can probably tell from the photos, so I am hoping as I gain more experience with the telephoto lens (this is only my first time using it with birds) that I will be able to use it better.

    You're off to good start with your telephoto. I like #3 the best as it has a good head angle and is unobstructed. You need to pay a bit more attention to the rule of thirds in your compositions.

    Just saw this thread... nice to see you back around! Looks like you're getting some good pics out of that 100-300--keep it up!
