    Very nice capture Ric. Most of the green herons I've shot have had some stick or branch right in the way of a clean shot. Is this a female? If so I've never seen one before. All of the ones I've seen have been a more decided green (perhaps all males)?

    Good one Ric. Fien detail, the eye stands out well and you have a nicely defocused BG.

    Really nice, Ric! The light on the bird's face is so nice, and I'm drawn to his eye, which is so clear and sharp. Best, Pam
