Are there issues with using CF cards across Nikon & Canon equipment?

Hello, my friendly neighborhood photography community!

Another photographer is going to be doing a shoot for me, & of me, and we are considering having her use my CF cards so I can do all the processing without there having to be another meeting to transfer share files. BUT, she shoots the dark side: Nikon. And I shoot Canon. Is that going to be a problem?

Should not be...however she needs to format the cards in her camera before using and you will need to do the same after transferring her files....that is where problems usually arise when mixing camera brands and memory cards....I have never done this with Canon to Nikon but I know if I format a card in my Konica Minolta 7D and then put it in my Nikon it is not recognized and vice versa......

    Format . . . format . . . format.
I almost never erase. I just format.
You should have no problems going back & forth from Canon to Nikon. I do it all the time.

Oh, wait. . . . I thought this thread was about CF cards, not personalities. My bad.

I shoot the same cards in a Nikon D300s and a Canon HSF100 HD video camera with no problems as long as you format as was already stated.
