Do I need to fix this?

I'm concerned about the fact that the subject looks like it disapears in the sky.

    I don't think the disappearing is a major issue. On the other hand, the sky seems too bright. This is a tricky shot to make. Did you bracket your exposures? Erich

    The old wisdom; "Shoot for the skies!"
    It's almost always possible to "pull" the darkest shadows.
    It's never possible to develop the 100% blown out skies.

    Shoot RAW, shoot full manual, bracket with the shutter speed, not the aperture.
