I'm looking for a recommendation on a softbox about 24"x24" (approximate) that I can use with 1 or 2 canon speedlites.

thanks

Are you wanting something that will accept 2 flashes into a single modifier?

Does it need to be a softbox or just something that has similar properties?

How do you intend to support the device? From a light-stand? From the flash?

I would like the ability to add a second flash. It will be supported by a stand and yeah I guess I would like it to have a softbox property. Unless I see something else that works.

I called B&H and they recommended this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/140665-REG/Photoflex_FV_SD2M_SilverDome_NXT_Medium_Softbox.html

You may want to see if you can just look at various rings used to support softboxes. The ring I have (which is over 10 years old) has a 1/4-20 socket on the bottom you could easily just attach to a lightstand. From there it's about attaching the flashes which a couple of superclamps would do the job. Unfortunately I don't think there is a brand name on the ring.. but I'll check when I go to the garage. It's a "universal" softbox ring so you can add different mounting plates, if that helps (for say Calumet, Profoto, etc. monolights)

Cheetahstand. Their Qbox comes with a ring/mount to accept one flash, but I believe they also have a mount which will let you use two. Very happy with mine for the price.

If the product you need isn't there, contact Ed, the owner - he really goes the extra mile to try and serve his customer's needs.

With a super clamp and a few fittings you can attach two flashes to an umbrella an umbrella mount.
