....yesterday on Assateague Island off the eastern shore of Maryland I was extremely lucky to capture an Eagle taking my bait scraps. The wonderful thing was the light, it was only 8am and while bright enough to reflect off the beach and light the underside a bit, it was not yet harsh. Lens is decades old 80-200 2.8 push/pull, camera d-300. You may click for a larger image.

Great shots, nice thing about Nikon you can still use those old lenses which were very well made and sharp as well as affordable.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I could never get shots like this with a 'decades old' lens on my D-70, i had some and tried, gave up and opted for a DX lens. Nice captures though!

    Thank You all!
I found one more that really takes advantage of the light reflecting off the beach, no shadow bump necessary.....pretty much "out of the camera."
