Link to own page when leaving a comment

When I do comment on another Smugmug member gallery (for example his/her guestbook) then my profile image and my name is linked back to my smugmug page. So far so good.

I did set a custom domain name and did set it as well in control panel. Everything is fine. All my galleries and images uses the custom domain name. As well so far so good.

But now I realized that my comments on other users smugmug galleries link back to my original smugmug name and not to my custom domain name. For SEO purposes it would be much better if the link back would be to my custom domain name.

Do I miss something? Can I set this somewhere? Or is it a "bug"?

IT's working with custom domain for me - I just left a comment on your Matterhorn shot. Can you please post a link to a photo you commented on so I can see the linkage?

I realized the problems about 20 minutes ago when I left a comment here:

But I see that other comments from other people seems to link back to their custom domains.

Werner, I figured it out. Its how it is displayed. If you leave the comment say for a photo on the Most Populars you see the SmugMug URL. But if you go back to the original gallery, you will see the Custom Domain. I have filed a bug report to get it fixed. Thanks for letting us know that it was happening.

Thanks a lot for your reply and the explanation.

In fact most of my comments until now I did in the guestbook of others. I did some more testing the last two days and it always put in the smugmug domain name.
I went to the users homepage and then clicked "Guestbook" there. So I think this guestbook gallery is the original one?

Anyway in the meantime I realized that comments do not show up in the page source code. It looks to be done by javascript. So a comment is not much or nothing worth for SEO purposes. Of course a comment is always good for the photograph to express that other people do like his/her work. But would be nice to have also a SEO effect.
