The local paper's sports editor asked me to shoot the High School Girls Softball playoffs. I occasionally submit stories and photos like NASCAR, NHRA, and aviation. He said "If you can shoot that stuff, you can shoot softball". Not so! I found it to be a real challenge. Day 1 was a learning experience, day 2 was good and wore my butt out. I was the only "real photographer" at the field, and was approached by several families for photos- yikes. No pressure now. The paper got their photos and I uploaded 1,640 onto my Smugmug!!! I shot with the 70-200 and 24-70. I think most shots went to the 70-200.
