So, I know that I have already entered the shot from my first post, and thanks again for all of the excellent suggestions. I used all of them, and couldn't be happier with the final outcome. You guys are wonderful! :bow I have been super busy, and was finally able to go through my other shots of the cathedral, and found another one that I think really fits my take on the theme as well which is a higher power, and am now 2nd guessing myself as to which shot to use.

Thoughts?

Both really nice, but I prefer the first one.

I like the symmetry of the second. They're both beautiful!

Both are great shots but I think the first one draws the viewer into the photo more. It feels like there is more depth to it, and I think it is a better fit for your theme because of that.

To me, the altar says higher power more than the organ (although, I sing in a church choir and know quite a few organists that would disagree :D).

    Both are beautiful shots though.

I prefer the first one for the same reason I like some HDR shots. There is so much detail and little thing to look at.

wow. both are quite incredible. just love the colors, texture and lighting. it's a tough one, and i guess it depends upon which relationship you wish to depict with a higher power. the first one is much more intimate, rich, warm, and intricate. the second is more imposing and monolithic. my initial preference was the first given that it tended to draw you in more, but the second one is very effective and fitting of the theme.

15524779-Ti.gifI like the blues & wood tones in #1 & the symmetry of #2 - seems like you had an earlier version of #1 that was more symmetrical? Either one is great - beautiful shots!
