Here's my newbie post:

I really wanted to get a picture of one of Colorado's fourteeners under the light of the "super moon". After checking the NOAA weather forecasts for potential cloud cover for several areas, I decided to head down to shoot Pikes Peak. This shot was taken from the Rampart Range Road between Woodland Park and Colorado Springs.

Welcome, newbie! This would be a much better image to enjoy if you posted large. Hard to see Orion at this size.
