I am still on the look out for the right photos to apply this "Oil Paint" effect from Pixel Bender...
How do people like this crocus?

I know this sort of thing is often "Love or Hate" but let me know what you think. :)

    Hmmm...I don't exactly love it, but I don't hate it either. It's a cool effect, but I wonder if it might work better if you didn't apply it to the whole image. Perhaps a blend of the filtered version in the background but some parts of the flower unfiltered would be more interesting. ne_nau.gif

    Funny, I was thinking the exact opposite...plain background to eliminate the swirly stuff, but painted flower. :)
